- Compared with 15.1, OpenMoji 16.0 added no new emoji and redrew 2,893 existing designs.
- How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?
- By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from 15.1. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
