Frequently asked questions

What changed in Emojipedia 11.0?

Compared with 6.0, Emojipedia 11.0 added 154 new emoji and redrew 2 existing designs.

How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?

By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from 6.0. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
