Frequently asked questions
- What changed in Apple iOS 15.4?
- Compared with iOS 14.6, Apple iOS 15.4 added 123 new emoji and redrew 1,778 existing designs.
- How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?
- By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from iOS 14.6. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
