What changed in JoyPixels 3.1?: Compared with 3.0, JoyPixels 3.1 added 251 new emoji and redrew 1.246 existing designs.
How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?: By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from 3.0. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
