Frequently asked questions
- What changed in HTC Sense 8?
- Compared with Sense 7, HTC Sense 8 added 19 new emoji and redrew 57 existing designs.
- How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?
- By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from Sense 7. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
