Frequently asked questions
- What changed in Emojipedia 6.0?
- Compared with 5.2, Emojipedia 6.0 added 2 new emoji and redrew none.
- How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?
- By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from 5.2. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
