Frequently asked questions

What changed in Emojipedia 5.2?

Compared with 5.1, Emojipedia 5.2 added 72 new emoji and redrew none.

How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?

By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from 5.1. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
