- What changed in DoCoMo 2002?
- Compared with 2001, DoCoMo 2002 added no new emoji and redrew 245 existing designs.
- How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?
- By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from 2001. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
