Frequently asked questions
- What changed in Apple iOS 9.3?
- Compared with iOS 9.1, Apple iOS 9.3 added 5 new emoji and redrew 1 existing designs.
- How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?
- By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from iOS 9.1. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
