Added in Facebook 2.1

よくある質問

What changed in Facebook 2.1?

Compared with 2.0, Facebook 2.1 added 647 new emoji and redrew 7 existing designs.

How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?

By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from 2.0. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
