Frequently asked questions
- What changed in Samsung Experience 8.1?
- Compared with Experience 8.0, Samsung Experience 8.1 added no new emoji and redrew 9 existing designs.
- How is a redesign told apart from a re-release?
- By the artwork itself. Every image is stored with a checksum of its bytes, so a design counts as redrawn only when those bytes differ from Experience 8.0. A version number cannot tell you this — most releases ship the same drawings unchanged.
